Privacy Policy

Thank you for visiting geospy.ai (the “Site”), owned and operated by Graylark Technologies, Inc. (“Graylark”). At Graylark, we take your privacy seriously, whether you are visiting the Site as an investor, founder, or member of the general public, you are entitled to the protection of your personal data. Please read this Privacy Policy to learn how we treat your personal data.

1. Introduction of GeoSpy

In addition to our website, geospy.ai, Graylark Technologies, Inc. ("Graylark") offers GeoSpy, a cutting-edge AI-powered geolocation tool that utilizes advanced image analysis to predict locations. Users can upload images to GeoSpy, which then utilizes AI models trained on extensive databases of geotagged images to predict the location depicted in the images. This tool is designed to support a range of precision, from broad geo-estimation to highly accurate street-level predictions. As a specialized platform, GeoSpy is integral to Graylark's suite of technological solutions, providing unique value in geolocation services.

2. User Access and Registration

To access GeoSpy, users or companies may "request" access by providing one or more email addresses through our designated platform. This initial step allows us to contact potential users for further engagement. Upon receiving an access request, we review the submission and, if approved, add the user or users to a specific tenant on GeoSpy. A tenant typically represents a customer or a specific team within a company, and companies can have multiple tenants if needed. This tenant-based system enables us to manage user interactions and service delivery effectively, ensuring a personalized and secure experience for each group.

3. Data Collection Specific to GeoSpy

When you use GeoSpy, we collect the images you upload along with any associated metadata. While this metadata, such as the date the image was taken, the device used, and the file type, is stored, it is not used by our system for geolocation purposes. Our geolocation predictions are made exclusively through the analysis of the image pixels themselves. The metadata is provided back to you as additional information for your own use and does not influence the geolocation results generated by GeoSpy.

4. Purpose of Data Collection for GeoSpy

The primary purpose of collecting data through GeoSpy is to offer accurate geolocation services. We analyze the images you upload to determine the depicted location. This analysis relies solely on the visual content of the images, not on the metadata, which is provided to you for informational purposes only. We do not use your images or metadata for AI training, further processing, or any other applications beyond delivering the specific services you request from GeoSpy.

5. Data Retention and Deletion for GeoSpy

We retain images and associated metadata uploaded to GeoSpy in alignment with the purpose of the search and the user's needs. For quick searches, images are retained for 7 days before deletion. For searches where images are associated with a project or case file, the data is retained until you choose to delete the image or the associated project or case file. Following such a deletion, there is a 30-day retention period before the image is permanently removed from our storage to ensure all related processes are completed and to comply with legal requirements.

While we do not generally offer immediate deletion upon direct inquiry, we are committed to complying with applicable legal standards regarding data retention and user rights. If you have specific needs regarding the deletion of your data, please contact our support team, and we will assist you in accordance with our capabilities and legal obligations.

6. Responsibility of Users

As a user of GeoSpy, you are responsible for ensuring that the images and any content you upload comply with all applicable laws and do not infringe on any rights, including privacy rights and intellectual property rights, of third parties. It is your duty to ensure that the content you upload is free of any legal restrictions or violations.
